Our Ocean & Safari Tour is for those who like to take things a little slower and allow ample time to enjoy each destination to the fullest.
This itinerary skips the Sossusvlei part of the ‘Essential Namibia’ tour and instead allows more time to relax and immerse yourself in nature on more days of safari.
From sandboarding to cycling, hiking, kayaking to sky-diving, there are adventures to all lovers of sport.
Dolphin and seal catamaran cruises and exploring Sandwich Harbour off-road in a 4×4 vehicle are a MUST when in Swakopmund!
Activities such as camel riding or the Living Desert tour will teach nature-lovers amazing things about the survival strategies used by animals & plants in the desert!

What To Expect
Upon arrival to Windhoek, the capital city of Namibia, you will be picked up by one of our local guides. Upong request and depending on the time of arrival your guide will take you on a guided sightseeing around the city.
Your guide will take you to the town of Swakopmund on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean in air-conditioned vehicle. In the afternoon you can stretch your legs after the drive, take a nice walk on the beach or in the city, explore the many excellent restaurants or just relax in the hotel.
In the morning after a hearty breakfast, you can choose from a wide array of activities to enjoy in Swakopmund, such as: quad-biking or walking in the desert, scenic flights, sandboarding or camel-riding.
In the afternoon a professional driver will take you on a 4×4 adventure to Sandwich Harbour. On this unique excursion you can enjoy the spectacular landscape as you cruise on top of the giant sand dunes that run straight into the ocean. With a bit of luck you might even catch a glimpse of the iconic, desert-dwelling oryx antelope, the national animal of Namibia.
In the morning you will take a short drive to the neighbouring town of Walvis Bay to embark on the Dolphin & Seal catamaran tour. The exciting name is given to this tour for a reason!
After the cruise, you will have time to eat lunch in one of the many restaurants of the town and – upon request -in the afternoon your guide can take you on a little sightseeing tour around town. You will also have a chance to buy souvernirs, as the town is teeming with authentic curio shops.
In the morning you will have a few hours to relax in the hotel or take a walk on the beach, before heading north with your guide again. The drive to your next destination, Spitzkoppe Lodge is about 2 hours and you will have time to explore the beautiful rock formations and take a short – or long- guided walk to the Bushman rock paintings and rock arch.
After a wholesome breakfast you will head north to the beautiful Okonjati Game Reserve. The drive takes about 4 hours through diverse landscape that turns more and more into the Africa of our dreams.
Okonjati Game Reserve with its hills, savannah , rock formations and bushland truly looks and feels as if we stepped right into the Lion King!
Spend three relaxing and exciting days, living the safari dream immersed in nature and yet in the comfort of the beatiful Mount Etjo Lodge, situated in the heart of the vast Okonjati Private Game Reserve. Apart from the two daily game drives in the morning and afternoon, Mt Etjo offers a very wide variety of optional activities, such as: rhino tracking, lion feed, hike to petrified dinosaur tracks, bush picnics, private game drive, photography hide or a visit to the local school.
Mount Etjo’s driver will take you back to Windhoek. The drive takes about 3 hours. Depending on the time of your flight, you might be able to enjoy a last morning game drive or a peaceful breakfast in the lodge, before setting off and heading back to the city.
